Hi, Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I understand your concern and will guide you in the right direction. There is no such feature in windows to resume a voice recording document at a later date. For second issue I suggest you to use speech recognition. Here you can use your voice to dictate text to your computer.
For example, you can dictate text to fill out online forms; or you can dictate text to a word-processing program, such as WordPad, to type a letter. Refer this link: Hope this information helps.
Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you Suvarna G Microsoft Community.
Hi, I would like to use Microsoft James in MS Windows. This voice has been installed if viewed using settings - see screenshot below. If viewed from the Control Panel the installed voices are quite different - see screenshot below. MS Word uses Hazel's voice (set in the control panel), where as I want to use James voice as selected using settings.
How can I correct this? Thanks 1) Using Settings a) Select Time & language b) Select speech 2) Using the Control Panel a) Select Speech Recognition b) Select Advanced speech options These are the available voices.
Hi John, Thanks for your very prompt reply. I have followed the instructions as set out in Appendix c: TTS voices. 1) I Select a language English (Australia) and click the Options button 2) This screen is displayed. There is no download option 3) I found the voice I am looking for (James) in the Ease of Access Screen. I previously downloaded it but do not recall how.
However selecting it as illustrate, still does not use James voice in Word or OneNote. Hazel refuses to step aside.
4) What am I doing wrong?
Oct 30, 2016 As such, only my Microsoft SAPI 4 Speech Synthesizer is currently working. Now, I did uninstall all of the RHVoice and ModelTalker software and voices, however, it did not resolve my problem at all.
